Did you know...you can post photos on Gransnet threads?

And to get you started, today we're asking you to upload an image of your favourite mug to this thread...I'll kick things off with mine. grin We'll be giving someone who posts a photo on this thread a spot prize too! brew

Here's how to post a photo...

Whether you are starting a new thread or posting on an existing one, under the box where you type your message, you will find an option that says 'Images:'. Next to this are three 'Choose file' buttons. Simply click on one of the buttons, select the file you would like to upload from your computer, and then it'll be added to the post.

If you change your mind, you can delete the file by clicking on the 'Remove image' text.

As with any post, you can click 'Preview message', so you can see what your post with photos will look like before you publish on site, and make any changes you want. When you are happy to post, click 'Post message'.

Let us know if you get stuck! flowers

Interesting to see how many people have a lovely memory attached to their favourite mug! And how long some of them have lasted. Here’s mine. A gift from a friend a couple of years ago. No one else in my house has the same initial so it’s all mine grin

Mostly a lurker but have commented on a few posts.
My favourite mug:

No absolute favourite because I rotate Emma Bridgewater flowers mugs by season: snowdrops, daffodils, wallflowers, tulips, cornflowers, pansies, holly - with ivy as a general spare. Gap is because I broke dahlias last autumn. DH thinks I'm dotty and grumbles about the shelf space, but it gives me much harmless pleasure.

my favourite mug holds 750mls of tea. It is white with a red strip that says "GROSSENWAHN" my daughter and son in law brought me from a Christmas market in Germany a few years ago. I always say it means "big one", but aparently the dictionary says it means "megalomania" or delusions of grandeur.

Nortsat46 Tue 10-Mar-20 14:05:36

This is my favourite, it’s Emma Bridgewater. My partner bought it for me, to replace my previous favourite, which he managed to break ...

harrison53 Tue 10-Mar-20 14:05:33

My GD is into unicorns, so this has been my favourite mug since my usual kingfisher one was broken.

You know when it's a bad day..........

You put your bra on backwards....... And it fits perfectly. ????

The Wonderful Man bought me this mug for those times when I'm ill and need to drink a lot. I always joke that it's so huge it's like a swimming pool! grin

My favourite, a Cairn terrier mug I bought from a tourist shop in Dornoch, couldn’t resist! Used every day.
