Did you know...you can post photos on Gransnet threads?

And to get you started, today we're asking you to upload an image of your favourite mug to this thread...I'll kick things off with mine. grin We'll be giving someone who posts a photo on this thread a spot prize too! brew

Here's how to post a photo...

Whether you are starting a new thread or posting on an existing one, under the box where you type your message, you will find an option that says 'Images:'. Next to this are three 'Choose file' buttons. Simply click on one of the buttons, select the file you would like to upload from your computer, and then it'll be added to the post.

If you change your mind, you can delete the file by clicking on the 'Remove image' text.

As with any post, you can click 'Preview message', so you can see what your post with photos will look like before you publish on site, and make any changes you want. When you are happy to post, click 'Post message'.

Let us know if you get stuck! flowers

My favourite mug. Hilda on one side and Stan on the other. I also have one that’s Ena Sharples and Albert Tatlock. I love the bright colours, the thin, quality china and the nod to my Mancunian roots

My favourite mug is actually about 10 years old and has been used every day. My husband has a black one of the same design and we bought them at Wakehurst Place National Trust shop when visiting one day.

My breakfast coffee cup , I've had it and used it every morning for well over 10 years now, It was a Christmas present with chocolates and a small felt toy cat inside.

Good day to all and a big hello from Canada! ?? This is my very first post, so I guess I’m no longer considered a lurker?!? ? I always enjoy my tea in my favourite mug.

The Wonderful Man bought me this mug for those times when I'm ill and need to drink a lot. I always joke that it's so huge it's like a swimming pool! grin

It has a cartoon drawing of a woman with a fab figure. ............. Wording as follows.

You know when it's a bad day..........

You put your bra on backwards....... And it fits perfectly. ????

My two favourite mugs. My son married a lovely Danish girl. They have a little boy so now we are Farmor and Farfar.

My GD is into unicorns, so this has been my favourite mug since my usual kingfisher one was broken.

Nortsat46 Tue 10-Mar-20 14:05:36

This is my favourite, it’s Emma Bridgewater. My partner bought it for me, to replace my previous favourite, which he managed to break ...

my favourite mug holds 750mls of tea. It is white with a red strip that says "GROSSENWAHN" my daughter and son in law brought me from a Christmas market in Germany a few years ago. I always say it means "big one", but aparently the dictionary says it means "megalomania" or delusions of grandeur.
