Illegal Fake Posts

I have been reporting them also.

Hopefully GN will take notice, unless they are having alie in!
I've reported a number as well.

I detests scammers like this. ? Taking advantage of vulnerable people and spoiling GN for other posters.

I hope GN is also reporting them to the relevant authorities - they give several contact details, which are probably illegal with the providers they are using.

Errr - what are illegal fake posts? I don't think I've seen one.

I’ve reported everyone I’ve seen but they are still there. Didn’t realise though that when you report a post you get a confirmation Email. I wondered why I had so many Emails until I opened them ?

I've reported the fake doc' one a couple of times. It seems to be on virtually all the forums.

Please PLEASE can you give us an example of a 'fake post'? Sorry to be so ignorant - I must have been 'gently reared' as they say ......

Flippin eck! Just seen them and they've targeted every single forum with their s**t. Never seen so many in one day.

ExD , these posts are breaking the law, offering fake passports etc.
They are scammers.

They have not been in my maths class thread , obviously they think we are unscammable!

GNHQ acknowledged my first report at 11.45 they have still not removed any of these illegal threads................

I have all mine acknowledged too, ( it's an automatic reply, I think) but they haven't come back and replied about what action they have taken, as they usually do.

These repeated "buy your fake documents " threads filling every single topic are an example, "ExD", and they are a "Denial of service" attack on Gransnet, smothering the real posts with spam. As GN "moderators" seem to be all self-isolating this Saturday, I am counter-attacking with calls to contact a Gransnet director direct and make them aware of what is going on. (You can tell I have nothing much to do this afternoon)

Just counted and there are 33 of them. All reported.

I've reported a few too, though it looks as if they are on every forum topic.

They must be running short of cash in these trying times. Rats
