Anyone else having trouble sending PMs?

I'm loving the conspiracy theories! .

I know from experience that these things can be a b**ger to sort. .

Beginning to think that GNHQ do not want us to communicate via PM’s

I just discovered this morning, that I had a PM in my inbox, at the top of the page. I usually get them in my email inbox. IYSWIM.

Has anyone found that there has been any progress? Any news about this?
Apparently I can send them (accordingly to the recipient - I have no evidence of this in my 'sent' box)
but I cannot receive them.
Over the past four days the problems have varied, different on-screen notifications etc.

I had a PM this morning, a test but my test reply wouldn’t send. Gremlins ?

Someone has sent me 15 without realising but I ve received nothing

I managed to send one but 20+ arrived! I did not receive a reply although one was sent.

Approximately 16.00 pm and still having problems sending Private Messages.

Yes i had problems yesterday too,also had the box saying ok, sent about 5 in the end without realising

I feel we can't really make a fuss, as we are not paying for this site and sometimes, these problems are difficult to solve. I know from my experiences, when our whole school site would go down and staff would be complaining.

I hope the techies pick up on the screenshot I posted of the script and are able to work out what is wrong.

Still not working and I am furious. I received duplicate messages yesterday from the same person, wrote a detailed reply and it has failed to send ever since. I can’t cut and paste so not only have I lost my message which took a good ten minutes to write but the addressee presumably thinks I haven’t bothered to reply.

Tuesday and the pm s are still not working

I'm sure SupertechDan will be on the case and let us know when it's fixed. I think HQ may have got the message by now ?, or perhaps not!

Having a problem sending a PM just now.

The poor s*d I was sending a PM to got the same one about 20 times. Over enthusiastic trigger finger!

Just sent another one and getting the same box at the top of the screen.

When I was sending one last night a box appeared at the top of the screen

'Gransnet says OK'

I didn't realise it had gone, and did it again, and got the same message. When I checked, it had gone through twice.
