Ah, actioning it is not necessarily the same as doing it.

Actioning it could mean doing it ot it could mean asking (as a euphanism for ordering) another member of staff to do it as part of that prson's duties.

Yes, in the office situation, “I will action that” often means “I will get someone else to do that. (And possibly take the credit )
