why no edit option?

Spot on FannyC. Might as well start a thread called Brick Wall so we can all come on and bash our heads against it when it comes to site stuff. hmm

It doesn’t matter. They won’t update anything.

They won’t even look into existing functions which are malfunctioning, or not functioning at all.

For example the Active List has not worked correctly for years now, and some threads do not appear at all; and the Search Function does not work at all for many posters, myself included.

That's discouraging!

I use preview message sometimes, if i am writing something a bit long and complicated.

I take FCs points.

I've seen this question asked several times but never an explanation. Every other forum I have used has this facility and it is so useful - either to correct an error or add a bit more information.
Gransnet is probably the largest and best funded forum I use so why can't this be done??
