Making unwanted threads move down the list out of sight

The ACTIVE button lists all threads, whatever their topic, with the ones with the latest post first, but the LAST HOUR button lists them under topics. You can choose which.

The offending threads have now moved down to reasonable positions on both buttons.

Just don’t post on them. Every comment keeps them near the top.

The threads on "Last hour" are listed with the latest first, under each of the various topics. AIBU is the first topic alphabetically, so it is first.

If there were no new threads under AIBU since the offending one (as there were not until very recently) then without adding a new AIBU thread, or posting on existing ones, the threads from this African spammer would have stayed at the very top of the whole list.

That was the point of starting new AIBU threads as well as posting on any and all other threads.

Yes, but it takes ages of posting new stuff to move them off! Will persevere ....... though I should be heading into town to return library books before I go away! 📖 📕
