My Post Was Deleted and I Need to be Told Why

On the whole it's a light touch (I am not making a comment on the decision above) and they are there to protect against really offensive, attacking individual GN' type posts should we feel the need.

Most important of all is moderating against trolls, we had a nasty round ot a persistent one recently and if allowed to just get away with it would wreck our discussions. Social media can be a truly nasty place at its extremes.

Ah yes, the dreaded Moderators - the Oliver Cromwell's of Gransnet!

Galaxy, these political threads are like that a lot of the time, however there are some contributors who make me think.

A moderator has replied via email.

I am not to say that Israel is "Nazi".

The mod and I have a different opinion regarding the antis-----ism word. I will have to be more careful what I write to Gransnet.

Oh I have started avoiding those threads Caleo, and it is not as if I avoid controversial subjects. Those threads just go round in circles, everyone entrenched in their own view.

I would say that on the time I breached guidelines they did send me an email explaining why.
I had called someone a misogynist ( he was) so it was a personal attack. They tend to be the most frequently deleted I think. What thread was it?
