Deleting messages on a pm

It’s not a debate button it’s a picture of a dustbin

That’s what pressed. Turned pale pink. One message now says old post ( even though it was posted today) I can still read it. The others are still there.

I have a PC and use the Desktop site.

However, I also use the Desktop site for my mobile devices. I much prefer it.

We don’t have a large pc anymore just iPad & Apple pc & phones.
I found the desktop, it went dead small, so hubby has sorted back to large print as I couldn’t see what I was doing.
I wish I was bit more savvy with computers 🤦‍♀️

I found the desktop, ticked the name of the person I want to delete messages but can’t find a delete button 🤷‍♀️

You'll need to make sure you are on the "desktop site" not the mobile site. The option is at the bottom of the page.
You'll then be able to delete messages - if you're like me you'll need a magnifying glass to read the desktop site!

Sorry I am a little thick, what’s a desktop?

A desktop computer is literally just that, like in an office, a screen, a keyboard, mouse and the computer itself is a big thing usually on the floor. PC is personal computer. Just Google anything you want to know and it will tell you in detail i.e. what is a pc?

The mobile view is obviously for a smartphone, I've no idea what view you use with a tablet or a notebook but a laptop is basically the same as a pc.

Is that about using your PC instead of your phone?

I think last time I went on those little symbols I managed to lock myself out.

To change to Desktop site, click on Mobile site.

I've just seen another dustbin! To delete several at once, click on the box at the side of the messages to select them and then the dustbin.
