Great night last night wasn't it.
Crowd in stadium very engaged and supporting all the home nations - and everyone else.
Weir still on top form.
Good night for the UK women - a surprise silver in the long jump (even though poor Shara had to withdraw), fantastic women's 200m - with a silver and bronze and 4th place for UK women.
Blessing is obviously a huge talent - she can long jump too. She is going to be a Nigerian superstar I think.
And of course www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/commonwealth-games/28593480 Eiligh got her expected silver - always a nail-biter in the hurdles. Greg Rutherford probably set a record for signing autographs and posing for selfies the other day but the UK women were hard on his heels last night.
I am also deeply impressed by the BBC's attention to visual detail. The studio set has a citrusy colour scheme and Gabby, Denise and Paula have acquired a co-ordinated wardrobe for the occasion.
Colin aka best dressed man on tv is in the commentary box i think for this one.
(this is obviously not such an issue on Match of the Day or The Six Nations as the all male teams much more boringly dressed but I would like to take Guscott out and buy him some scarves that make him look a bit less un-dead)
Structural problems and insurance
