Lawn Tennis at Queen's

For DH's 70th I have treated us to the Finals day at the tennis at Stoke Park in Berkshire. It's just a small event BUT with major tennis players. Novak D appears there each year but the icing on the cake for me is that Rafa Nadal is appearing. I don't know which day Rafa is on and I am keeping everything crossed that it is Saturday.

Came back from a full on weekend with the GSs in hopes of settling down to watch the final only to find we had had a power cut RATS

My son recorded it to watch later, but they changed the channel! He now has lots of stuff he did not want to watch.

Bum! I missed it DD came for Father's day - every year she buys her dad a big box of liquerice allsorts which he hates but hasn't got the nerve to hurt her feelings. I, however love them

Not long now- Andy is having a couple of days off and then back to training. He is in fine form and with luck will repeat the success of 2013.

He looks in such good form , can't wait for Wimbledon to start now..

Wheniam64 how sad Rafa knocked out in first round, he is my ultimate favourite sportsman. I don't know who I will support now, I suppose it has to be Andy.

Oh no, I missed it, my freeview box was acting up, until I discovered the scart lead had come loose! Have to wait to see him play at Wimbers now. But I will watch Queens from now on. The French was a good one this year. Do you watch the men most or the women?

Should have kept my mouth shut - Rafa lost Watching Andy Murray afterwards highlighted just how in shape Murray is, in comparison - a powerhouse.

All I need is the time to have a look!
