I admit to tears watching it

A fitting farewell to a great sportsman:

Even I've heard of Jonah and I'm a recent convert. Such a shame to lose any young man but always sadder that he was one of the decent ones...RIP

Very sad news.

He was diagnosed in 1996 with a serious kidney disease so how much strength of character did that lad show over the last 20 years.

Not having a son I could choose my matches , I agree not the same game now

It's not the game it was, is it? Don't know how many hours I've spent freezing at the side of rugby pitches-ds only stopped playing 3//4 years ago!

Oh Katek, what about the whole Pontypool front row , but Jonah was brilliant ,let's say a star among stars , and I am sure he smiled at me once

Outstanding player-youngest ever All Black.

What about JPR and Barry John Annieb??

janeainsworth Wed 18-Nov-15 13:53:49

Yes Annie, very sad to hear this, and I'm not even interested in rugby.

How sad to learn of his death at such a young age

The greatest rugby player ever, and I say this as a Welshman

RIP
