Great game, that was how rugby should be played, well done to both teams

Rugby players have nice bums too Teetime at least mine has grin
Even though he's not played for about 25 years

Teetime Sun 07-Feb-16 06:05:19

We won I know but the scottish thighs were magnificent - that's all I know about rugby. grin

Don't worry Annie grin I always enjoy watching Wales or Ireland, so looking forward to the match tomorrow.

It's impressive how much Italy has improved since it first joined the 6 Nations. Definitely not the underdog these days.

A reasonable start by England but not sure we are going to be lifting the trophy somehow. Great performance by Italy and very unfortunate not to have beaten France because they deserved to.

Wilma,i am so sorry I didn't notice your picture, truly sorry , if I had I would have posted good luck to Scotland

Not a great match, rather scrappy , tomorrow's should be a good match - Ireland and Wales m I want Wales to win - there's a surprise grin but I think Ireland have a good team. I have my flag ready to put up tomorrow and poor, battered David - my six foot daffodil - will have his seat on the sofa with me and my dogs and my red shirt will be donned ,only time I wear red

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 06-Feb-16 22:56:25

England won fair and square today and Scotland didn't embarrass itself. Bit boring though. wink

Annie as a Scot, I'm supporting Scotland. Did you miss the picture in my OP?

Just goes to show how high tech pitches are these days. Years ago matches in the UK would have been a mud bath after all the rain we've had.

ninathenana Sat 06-Feb-16 19:26:38

I support England and enjoy a good game but even though DH & DS were watching I was engrossed in my colouring. I'm glad England won the Calcutta Cup or DH would have had the hump grin

Is this love or what? We had the DGC for the day do that DD and SIL could go flying and they didn't get back unti the Scotland England match had started.
Guess who took DGD out for a walk leaving DH with the boys and then did all the DGC's tea stuff so that the chaps could watch the rugby?? ??

Anniebach Sat 06-Feb-16 18:56:23

Congratulations England

merlotgran Sat 06-Feb-16 18:52:20

Regalo Sat 06-Feb-16 17:46:50

You bet I am watching...half time now so opportunity to post. Bit scrappy but enjoying the start of 6 nations.

HannahLoisLuke Sat 06-Feb-16 17:37:19

I'm watching too. Equally matched so far.

Anniebach Sat 06-Feb-16 17:20:13

Which flag are you flying Wlima ?

Alima Sat 06-Feb-16 17:02:21

Always an interesting match as DH is Scots and I am English. Come on England!

Anniebach Sat 06-Feb-16 16:59:06

Thank you Wilma, I am unsure about this year , I did think Ireland may take it again but now England has a new captain , a good player if he doesn't lash out again

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 06-Feb-16 16:53:16

Fantastic rousing sing there! grin

Good luck to Wales! Ab wink

Anniebach Sat 06-Feb-16 16:36:02

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 06-Feb-16 16:24:32

It's that time of year again and I think Scotland will give England a bit of trouble today!

Anybody else watching?
