I may be stupid but no sense in this. I know many like me who have no interest in football but watched Wales play. Also many who follow football watched Wales play in clubs and pubs , usually thry watch at home. People gathered in one house to watch together too. The rugby club was packed with rugby supporters watching the football for the Wales matches. Even the sisters in the convent watched

So they could have analysed thousands of homes of people who only watch rugby .....

I have often wondered how viewing numbers are arrived at. Do they have a secret tracking device on our TVs?

I think they recorded the shouts and groans from the tvs around Wales

Those who weren't watching the match, watching other programmes, were probably quiet because they were asleep.

Yes, gononsuch looks more like some England fans would do well to learn from the Welsh when it comes to sportsmanship. So you have nothing to crow about.

I have a holiday home in Dinard and the Welsh team has been so well received there that the Bretons call them "Nos amis les Gallois." Just shows how strong the celtic bond is and how proud they are of their roots.

Glad to be able to call myself Welsh when I visit Brittany this summer, (my grandfather was a clergyman near Swansea).
