Lots of weed pulling and clearing up in the garden between the heavy showers and a good walk. I envy your paddle I don’t think my knees/ hips would even let me get in a kayak ?.

Sounds lovely Cangran ( hope you don’t mind me shortening your name). We went for a walk with our regular walking group this morning. It was very cold ( for Australia, 7C) so only 14 turned up when we usually get between 20 and 30. The creeks looked lovely though, plenty of water and afterwards we all went for coffee. Funny there were 20 for coffee because some couldn’t be bothered walking!

We had our first kayak paddle today for this year. Late start, but we had a very cold spring, and it seemed whenever we had a day free of chores the weather was not nice.

Paddled about 3.5 km downwind on a small lake, stopped and rested on a dock of a cabin (nobody home), then started the very vigorous up wind paddle back! Tired in a good way, with shoulder muscles well used. I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow.
