He is adorable, and clearly a happy little chap, then again,he has lovely parents.

He was dressed appropriately for where he was sitting, I doubt
he would wear casual wear instead of school uniform.

He looked to me as if he was dressed for a very special occasion, which it obviously was to him.

If he had been dressed casually no doubt he would be said to be disrespecting football and no doubt, England.

Newatthis

It’s just sad that he looked like he was dressed for a funeral. It would have been nice to see him in an England football shirt as any other 8 year old.

This was discussed elsewhere, as is said above a couple of reasons have been put forward.
He seems to wear casual clothes at other times, so my guess is he liked it!

Apparently formal attire is required in the royal box.

Apparently he wanted to wear a suit the same as his Dad!!

I liked their freedom element. Quite lovely. No pomp or ceremony or having to behave 'as expected'

He did seem very excited and was obviously enjoying himself.

It’s probably a treat to be out with his Mum and Dad and no pesky siblings wanting their attention.

Sorry if this has been said on a different thread but I have to say it .
I am Welsh and a Royalist .
Would have liked Wales to have won Euros but still supported England .
I was delighted to see Prince George there with his lovely parents . What a credit to the royal family .
