Only 8 countries have ever won the world cup ( I would imagine it’s been dominated by South American teams). So I can’t imagine what the odds are against a team winning it. To get to the quarter finals is a great achievement.

Quite a few threads mention geographical location - Mick’s GM thread, for one. Sometimes is is germane to what is being posted, sometimes it helps to give a fuller picture. Does anybody have a problem with that?
