With the departure of Federer and probably Nadal, my new favourite is Janik Sinner. I love watching him play, no tempers or tantrums, just gets on with the game. I really hope he wins tomorrow, I will be watching.
Also has anyone ever subscribed to Tennistv? I subscribed for a month to try it and watch some atp tour matches. But now I want to cancel, and I’m finding it impossible. Unfortunately I used Applepay and this seems to have complicated matters.
I am thinking of contacting my bank to stop payments.

Can you not go into your Apple account to stop payments? I have done this before - ie trialled something and found it hard to opt out after the first month - but it can be done in settings.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I didn’t have any joy trying all those routes. In the end I just temporarily deleted my card from Apple Pay. Today was when my subscription should have been renewed, so I immediately received an email informing me my card had been rejected! After a couple of back and forth emails they finally deleted my account.
Perhaps later in the year I might subscribe again for a month or two, but I won’t use Apple Pay this time.
Thank you

100% with you re the young Mr Sinner. Terrific player much improved and with more confidence than a few years ago QED just won his first Grand Slam in Oz. Felt sorry for Medvedev though who I also like enormously.

I’m now looking forward to Wimbledon now that it looks as if Djokovic won’t be playing. Is it awful of me to dislike him so much?

Jannick is now number one in the world. About time someone took over from Djokovic, I can’t stand him either. He seems so hard and arrogant.

I also like Jannick Sinner but I have lately warmed to Djokovic too having watched him in the French Open. He has a sense of humour such as arriving for his following match wearing a crash helmet having been hit on the head by a water bottle in the previous one. I am sorry he had to withdraw following a knee injury. We have the tennis channel as part of our subscription to Sky but I have been watching the tennis on Eurosport this week.

I should have said the water bottle incident was at the end of a match not during it.

I wish the grunting would stop I have to mute.

I’m not a fan of Djokovic but I’m sorry he had to withdraw because of injury. I wish Sinner and Alcaraz had been meeting in the final, I like them both, apart from Alcaraz grunting, but I will be rooting for Sinner.
Looking forward to Wimbledon, it will be a welcome alternative to election coverage.

Jannick is my new favourite, after the wonderful Rafa. Jannick is polite, never breaks his racket and deserves his new ranking of No. 1.

I watched tennis all year round on TennisTV. They don’t do the big Tournaments. 🎾🎾
