Anyone watching Rafa 🎾 ?

As a great Rafa fan I felt that Carlos was the weak link yesterday in the Men’s Doubles. I still think the Winners were well deserved and wouldn’t be surprised if they got Gold.

They put up a good fight, but were sadly beaten by a better pairing. At least we still have Carlos in the singles to enjoy.

I’m sorry to see Rafa go out of the singles, but he was outplayed to be honest.
He can use all his energy for the doubles now, on a positive note 🙂

Poor Rafa. He’s been such a warrior but his body’s let him down.

I watched the doubles match until the tv coverage stopped abruptly just before the final set.

Watched the singles today but felt very sad to see Rafa go out in straight sets. Hoping he and Alcaraz have a better run in the doubles.

How do you watch the tennis. I keep trying iplayer but no tennis.

Novak is winning 6:1 second set 4:1.
Novak fitter and more match fit having reached Roland Garros finals although Alcaraz beat him there.
Glad our wonderful champion Rafa retiring this season : don't want to see him trounced like this.
Novak ( our other wonderful champion) just winning 'cos he can. Rafa would expect and has got "no quarter".
Always a privilege and a pleasure to see our great champions in action.
Let the wonderful youngsters start to take the Torch now........
