I'm finding it all a bit disjointed, i was watching tennis and it suddenly went to rugby and I couldn't find the tennis! I suppose so much is going on, they are trying to show a bit of everything. There doesn't seem much on BBC 2 either

It's all over the place. You can be watching a nail biting tie break in the tennis then it disappears.
Then turn on later and have a feeling of déjà vu with swimming or gymnastics only to realise it's the second or third time you've watched it.
I follow Sharon Davies she is extremely vociferous about this and men in women’s sport in general.
These are her words
“The IOC are negligent in their duty of care to female boxers. Knowingly putting males with a huge advantage in the ring with females. These males have been tested & banned by two boxing federation for having XY chromosomes. It’s beyond belief but nothing the IOC does fails to disappoint me these days”
The IBA is just one of the boxing authorities and does not agree with the others. This has been a long running controversy, trans boxers were allowed in the previous Olympics. Some of the boxers are in fact “intersex” others do meet the Olympic testing standards, it’s not fair on biological women and should be changed, it won’t be this year.
I’m hoping this will still be a place to discuss sporting achievements at the games, as there’s another thread devoted just to the issue of the two boxers.
I’m really looking forward to the athletics getting going today. We were in the London stadium on the opening day of the 2012 athletics so it’ll bring back some memories.
I’m not enjoying the coverage so just off to find Discovery+. But I’m enjoying so many sports “Im not interested in”! Loving the archery, BMX, mountain biking, so every cloud …
I'm intrigued as to why Germany is so far down the medals list in 13th position. Behind even Italy and The Netherlands. They actuallh have 100 more contestants in The Games than we have. I always remember Germany as being pretty impressive and successful in the past? For a country which is very strong in football, what's going wrong in athletics etc?
