England v Sweden. What a nail biter!
I hate penalty shoot outs and thought it was all over (from behind my cushion) but they would not give in. I thought Sarina Wiegman looked shell shocked at the winning save!

I watched but I was also watching the Sewing Bee so kept switching between the two channels.

At 88 minutes I thought this is it now and England have lost but apparently not!

The thing I noticed - not to do with the game - was how, when interviewed, the women all speak well. They seem nice sort of people.

That Italian manager is a bad sport!

Isn't he just!

Not a football fan but DH prefers women’s football. He says they don’t roll around on the ground with hurt limbs.
The Italians seemed to do a fair bit of that this evening.
But they're definitely not such wimps as the men.
