This is probably the only 2 weeks where I avidly watch curling! I'm looking forward to watching our skating duo who have a good chance of a medal with their British pop music inspired routines. They have so much ability and personality so good luck to them.

Feeling bit lost now the Winter Olympics has finished. I don’t watch daytime TV but I was glued to this all hours. Absolutely loved Tim and Ed’s commentary during the ski and board events. A terrific due with such camaraderie, rapport and informed banter. I miss the coverage. .

I agree Pittcity - a truly magnificent venue for a great event.

Holding it in Verona's Roman Coluseum is fabulous.

Yes, it's pretty impressive. A bit weird in places, but so creative and strikes the right chord.

Anyone watching the surreal closing ceremony?

I have successfully managed to avoid it all so far! smile

You’ve missed some amazing performances then !

Games are over now, we all were up at 05:00 this morning to watch the US/CAN hockey game. So disappointing that we ended up losing in overtime, but it was a very good game, and the US goalie was like a brick wall. But still a silver.

I love the Olympics for the sportsmanship, the chance to watch many sports that are not usually televised, and the pride it brings to our citizens.

Congrats to Norway for being the overall medal winner.

I really enjoyed the curling final. Well done Team GB on getting the silver. It was close for a good while. Congratulations Canada on getting the gold 👏👏👏

Yes, but 16th?
In line for the bronze?

Does anyone understand the scoring in the bobsleigh?

Britain are in 16th position!!
They are in line for the bronze medal!
says the commentator

I thought it was whoever was fastest....?

I know I should admire being in touch with their emotions, but I wish "our boys" would stop crying as they receive their medals! Silver is nothing to be ashamed of!🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈

RosiesMawagain, I still really don't understand all the strategy, but thankfully DH does, so will explain as they go along.

Well done! 🥇

It's taken the whole Winter Olympics but I think I understand the sport now!

Such an exciting match ,
but having a microphone shoved in your face straight after
is a bit miserable

It was exciting but I had little clue about what was going on 😁

Allira Sat 21-Feb-26 20:58:55

Yes, too much too soon.

Ah, Allira, I'm rooting for Canada! Creat curling on both sides!

That's lovely.
