Am I just being impatient and mean? New PM
Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
What's one health habit you've started that's actually made a difference?
A thread for those who are watching it.
Not sure how interested in it I will be.
Like I said on the not watching thread, it may depend how far some Countires I am interested in, get to, in the competition.
🏴 Well done England 🏴
That was exciting. And exhausting.
Well done England 🏴. Those balls are a bit snazzy ⚽️
Well done England! My niece in Canada has decided she is going to marry Jude Bellingham so I will need to buy a new frock!

That will be some celebration!
Did anyone see the interview with Thomas Tuchel at the end?
He was sooo cross with the team it was funny!
Typical German, (and no, I'm not not xenophobic before anyone jumps).
I want England to win so I can get a day off work. Otherwise as a non fan, I've seen about five minutes of the entire tournament.

He had a right to be cross. Just spoke to my partner who’s away at the moment but knows more about football than I do and we both agreed that England were lucky and played quite sloppy last night. I do think these breaks are causing a problem though in the way they interrupt the game. And there seems to be some dodgy refereeing. I think a non foreign manager would have been equally disappointed in their performance too, by the way #justsaying

Tell the designer houses you're attending Jude's wedding & you'll have the pick of their designs (on loan) for free! They'll be fighting to dress you.

I read it today, good, no pussyfooting around, Kane has some sympathy with Tuchel, just some mind.
I’m not sure I agree. He has plenty of opportunities to hammer home his instructions as honestly and forcefully as he likes but immediately after a win, saying England got lucky when there were two excellent goals from Jude Bellingham?
Would a bit of praise be too much for him?
The defence needs to up their game, Kane and Bellingham can’t continue to carry them now, brilliant though they have been so far, they need the back up.
I think you’re right though MartavTaurus, France are going to have it in the bag unless either England or Argentina produce something much stronger in the semis.

England started off very poorly IMO and there was too much passing the ball back when they should have been attacking from the start. I was thrilled that they won obviously but they did have luck on their side.
I am yet able to manage to see the whole game.

The party is at mine Casdon if that's the case. Proper champagne, saucisson sec and rillettes. Followed by tarte au citron.

I agree. I watched the match. Harry Kane did very little and I was surprised Tuchel didn't sub him with Ollie Watkins. They will have to play like they did against Mexico to beat Argentina.

Ooh! I wouldn't discount Spain in the semi's with France.
True Sarnia, but Spain haven’t been shining so far, so I think France will beat them convincingly - I could well be wrong though, at the beginning Spain were my guess at who would win the World Cup. We won’t get a better offer than a virtual celebration with MartavTaurus, though, so if it can’t be England, I hope it’s France.
You're all welcome. 🥂
I'm choosing a new puppy this week. His name will be either:
Lionel (and probably messy) or
Harry (and a canine of course).
I considered Kylian, but I don't think that would sound too great calling him in the park!
It all depends on the results.
Harry Kane did very little
He can score goals.
Other than that, I dont rate him much![I need to wash my mouth out].
He is often outrun, often loses tackles when they come his way, and often on the ground a bit hurt.
But he does seem to hold his own with referees, and does seem to hold the team together.
And he scores goals!

Midfield is good too.
Yes, defence is sketchy.
Pickford often saves the day.
Also, to pile on the pressure for France, it is le 14 juillet today, their national day commemorating the storming of the Bastille and what that meant to the nation.
A good omen maybe? I expect them to storm their way to the semis tonight!
I'll find a good reason for England to do so tomorrow!
My French helpers are excited about tonight. I have invited some friends round and we will eat crêpes which they will be cooking 😀 some will watch if not too late.
Vive la France!
