Bags I think hedgehoggy is an apt term. Pubic hair helps to reduce friction in a delicate area. Without it, surely there is more risk of chafing etc.
And surely removing it must lead to nasty uncomfortable regrowth and stubble?
It is true that men too are under pressure to remove body hair.
I was entertained, a few years ago, by an Apprentice participant announcing in surprise, "Doesn't everyone shave their balls?!"
Also by an ad in a gym which was advertising three different types of razors for the well groomed attractive man:
For the boardroom i.e. chin
For the changing room i.e. chest
and for the bedroom .... cue imagination folks.
Just how silly is this?
But fashions in this regard have varied through the ages I suppose. In some historic times it was more hygienic for men to shave groins as discouraged the spread of pubic lice.
I don't think the existence of weirdos on the internet should constrain discussion on intimate subjects. And as I have said before, if male members want to have a discussion about their male members
then that is their choice. ALso we all have a choice about the degree of anonymity we observe on GN. I don't really.
