You can definately remove skin tags yourself if you are brave enough. I attacked the DH's with a sterlised razor blade and numbed the area with ice. Now he wants me to do the rest - I'll have to try cotton, sounds much safer.
The age spots are trickier - they are basically sun damage marks. You can remove them or substantially reduce them but it is very expensive and you need a seriously skilled beautician. You will just get new ones though unless you are very disciplined about sun protection.
Try a face cream with chemicals in: AHA's, Vitamin C, glycolic acid will all help (not all at the same time though)
I think Bobby Brown make-up and skin care products are pretty fab. Their beauty consultants are also very well trained. You can buy a touch up stick which you put on after foundation or alone.
Foundation protects your skin when you are a certain age - if it disappears into your skin it is a sign that you haven't put enough moisturiser on. Try putting moisturiser on your face twice a few minutes apart, or use two products - a serum and cream or cream and oil to try and get enough onto your skin. Personally, I can't see the point of foundation primer I agree with Bobby Brown - that if you have the correct moisturiser and moisturising foundation you don't need primer as well.
Book yourself a make-up lesson, there is often a charge which is redeemable against purchases.
