leather trousers!

I think they are gross, whatever age you are - apologies to everyone who likes them.

They must be quite uncomfortable, too....Unless you can afford the finest soft leather.

There was an article about her and her leather trousers in one of the newspapers at the weekend. She says she will wear what she likes and she doesn't give a monkey's what anyone thinks. Something to be said for that I suppose but I couldn't be doing with them.

I seem to remember Suzi Quatro looking pretty hot in leather trousers. (another cold show due)

And there is nothing like a biker chick perched on the back of a bike in leathers (must go for that shower now)

But I do agree, there is an age limit.

I agree leather trousers look fabulous on a nice tight, young bottom and hideous on an old saggy one.

I did have a pair (back in the day) wouldn't be seen dead in them now.

They are a necessity for bikers male and female (chicks! ) of any age. Different to wearing them for 'style'. I admire her for knowing her own mind, but even if I were her size they wouldn't be my thing.

Cilla Black often wears them too.

I think they must be very hot and sweaty. Yuk- they are a bit of taste holiday.

Elegran I had same thoughts yesterday haven't seen her about for a while certainly miss her humour,I think leather trousers on youngsters look fine and as a safety measure on motorbikes they are a must but nothing worse than seeing saggy bottoms when they are well used.

I had a brown leather pair years ago. Lovely soft leather and very comfy.

Not something I would wear now though. OK in my twenties but not in my sixties.

Didn't bikergran say she was taking some time away from GN after her husband died? I hope she is ok, and comes back soon.

IMO Angela Rippon always looks extremely smart but this morning I found her leather trousers a bit of a shock and didn't like them. To be fair, if she could see me now, she wouldn't be impressed by my clothes either!

And to think that this very morning I returned some stretchy slim legged jeans to M & S because I thought they were too clingy!

I wouldn't mind trying them but my husband calls them " colostomy bags" , so somewhat off putting. ( this was in tribute to an unpleasant colleague of his who wore them - not sure of the connection!)
