Crumbs it's not chubby muscles that we want to lose, it's fat or toning up the muscles!

I'd also never suggest to going with Botox or any kind of surgeries to look natural. Just follow some face exercises and good diet , and believe me you can get a well sculpted face with them.

I just use moisturiser and sun cream, there is nothing you can put on your skin to make you younger.
I rarely use makeup just perhaps for weddings and I think this is why my skin is not very wrinkly.
We have to come to terms with the fact that we are getting older and our skin will change and there is nothing we can do about it.
The main thing for me is good health, still being able to do all the things I want to do.
I keep active and eat a good diet and that for me is more important than how many wrinklies I have and I am certainly not spending time or energy worrying about looking older.

Unfortunately, actors wear such a lot of theatrical make up and continually pull at the skin removing it, that their skin often suffers.

Smoking dries out the skin, particularly around the mouth. Age and lifestyle often are shown in the face. Interesting faces equal interesting lives! x

It's puzzling me that having stopped Botox etc FK's appearance has changed so quickly- I'd have thought it would have been less dramatic...

Hemorrhoid cream is good for the frown lines between the eyes. The trick is to put it on before going out as the tightening effect doesn't last all that long. I've never known the smell to linger.

She's brave to come out with it like that, but what an example of how those treatments can leave damage.
I've always admired her style. I've got a book she wrote, WhiteCargo, about her early years, in India etc.

I think it's a rather nasty article - purportedly congratulating FK on abandoning cosmetic treatments but then making some very uncomplimentary comments about the way she looks now. The fact that it is rounded off with the statement that she prefers the way FK looks now, doesn't make up for the earlier comments in my view.

I'm in favour of articles criticising the way women - especially women in the media - feel almost compelled to have treatments to try and halt the ageing process. But I prefer such articles to speak about the subject generally, rather than to pick on one particular person. FK may be a successful actress but I think these sorts of remarks could be very hurtful.

She really was cute and gorgeous in her youth. I think it's very sad that she's had so much botox and fillers over the years to preserve her looks so now, her facial skin without it, looks dreadful. Really. She now has the sagging, deep furrows, lines and wrinkles of a 90 year old. The price of vanity?

I really loathe the way most women's magazines encourage youthful looks, no matter what. It's a gift to grow old but so many women seem to fear it. Losing one's looks really isn't a massive deal.

I am still feeling smug though that for once, I DO look better than Felicity Kendall. She should serve as a warning to all.

I'm with looplylou on this one - stay away from mirrors when wearing my reading glasses (and varifocals too!) and as for magnifying mirrors! eek

Yes, I saw her on the One Show I think Loopy. As if things weren't bad enough for me, I have started to get spots on my face. SPOTS! What next? Give me a break.....
