Dry hands

My hands are looking decidedly 'old' of late. I've changed to Ecover dishwashing liquid and I think I may have to switch back to something else. I thought it would be less harsh than other brands but I'm not sure...
I know I should wear gloves but it never seems worth it for a few little bits.

Anyway, I'd really like some good hand cream recommendations? At the moment I'm just using a Bayliss and Harding hand cream that we had in the downstairs loo but I suspect I should be using something better. What does everybody else use? Would you recommend it?

Moulton Browne orange and bergamot repleneshing hand cream. Absolutely gorgeous and very effective.

As some others have already mentioned, Crabtree & Evelyn is very good - I especially like the Gardener's Hand Therapy, lovely smell and real heavy duty stuff, it can become quite addictive grin

I never wash up without my rubber gloves, if they it tirade you you can get the big packets of the ones without rubber in, not so durable but do the trick. I use Neautragena hand cream, it costs twice as much, but lasts absolutely ages. As yet I have no age spots on my hands and they are in better condition than my face. ?

The best hand cream I have used is Atrixo.

My hands were getting very red and sore with constant washing so I changed over to washing my hands with aqueous cream and then using Aveeno hand cream, which I bought after a recommendation on GN a few weeks ago.

My hands are nearly back to normal.

I always wear rubber gloves for any household task that involves water.

My hands have been dreadful for years now as I have an autoimmune condition called Sjogrens Syndrome which attacks the moisture producing glands in the body - have dry mouth, eyes, skin etc ... my GP has prescribed every cream known to man and none have done a thing to help! Since being on lockdown and self-isolatjng they got very chapped dry and sore again, so I got back out my trusty hand cream - O'Keefe's Skin Repair Cream. Not the green 'Working Hands' but the next one up, in a yellow bottle/tube

I've got very dry skin (cracks on the end of my fingers in winter - ouch..!) and I used Neutrogena for years - but then I discovered O'Keeffe's Working Hand Cream - it's like a miracle..smile
I've never used anything as good - a little rubs in well and doesn't leave your hands sticky, and I put extra on overnight. I buy the large tub from Amazon, and decant a little into a small container to keep in my handbag, so that it's always with me.
I can't praise it enough...!!!
