The checkout girl in Home Bargains today was wearing gabardine grey nail varnish. It looked awful! (to me)

well am investigating all sorts of colours that I wouldn't have looked at a few years or so ago and not necessarily on my toes or though they are sporting bright orange at the moment, with green eyes just discovered behind the glasses worn since 8 months old purple and shades of look good and silver /pale blue colours all previously avoided,I love bright strong colours, but always seem to pick autumn shades love sludgy khaki/green and rusty autumn shades.
Am waffling also but this might be due to a slight indulgence from a dark green bottle at the moment.I don't look good with the green /blus shades of nail polish.....skin tone similar to corned beefsad

Evening all.

As I usually wear open toed Birkenstoks (sp?) this time of year, I always have painted toe nails, usually either a peach colour, or a sort of toffee brown, or (if I'm wearing certain shoes) a Rimmel polish called "Double Decker" (no prizes for guessing the colour of that one!)

I went completely mad today and bought (and applied) a matt polish by Rimmel that I can't now find the name of confused I love it!

It is a sort of turquoise colour, and matches exactly some of the stones in a necklace that I sometimes wear to offset a black top.

OK, It may seem that I'm waffling, (which I am) but this is my first venture into the world of green/blue nail polish, when I first saw it years ago on a work colleague, I thought it looked bleurgh!
