8 weeks until DD's wedding and tried the whole outfit on today (to facilitate choosing between 2 expensive pairs of midnight blue suede shoes -no brainer, having both)
However, saw the neck shock which I usually keep under wraps, scarf, polo neck etc
So has anybody got a recommendation for a magic cream/potion/spell (?) which will "lift and firm" the offending area. A scarf even chiffon would not do. sad

You look gorgeous and not a bit Mother of the Bride! I agree with everyone who says your neck looks fine, but I would go for earrings if you want to draw attention away from it.

If you're really determined to cover your neck, perhaps you could go with this look, Alea!

I once saw a programme that advised 'reduce accessories to the bare minimum...and then take one more accessory off'. It reminds me of a very glamorous lady that I worked with [the men used to drool] who, at a Christmas do where we all dolled ourselves up turned up in the simplest of outfits and wowed everyone.

Love the outfit - who's going to notice the neck? I used to spray a lovely concoction on my neck which seemed to ease the wrinkles, can't recall the name now, but tried to replicate the effect. You can buy a pressurised water spray in Boots for cooling the face during hot weather, it comes in a small can like hairspray. Anyway, by applying moisturiser first and then the spray of water (it is more like water vapour, you don't get a soaking!), the lines on my neck definitely improved. It also works well to "set" make-up for a day out, if you like that sort of thing. Hope this helps, but you will look smashing anyway! Enjoy yourself.
