I have just read the thread on M&S design. So what are your favourite shops, websites for clothing and why?
Being a bit of an old hippie I wear Birkenstock sandals in the summer and Josef Seibel shoes any other time. I also like Nomads clothing. Lovely colours and very good quality.

Today M & S sent me a 20% off email offer for my birthday. The catch is I have to order online. Surely if it's for my birthday I want to actually go into the store and choose something nice. Very disappointed, so I wont be treating myself.

Today I received my Mother's Day gift from my DH. A pair of Sketchers shoes for summer, navy with multi coloured flowers, very comfortable memory foam in-soles. The problem now is, I need new summer trousers to go with them! I'll try M&S since several of you seem to trust them. I'll report back if I find any.

I just buy whatever I happen to see from a variety of place including Matalan, Sainsburys and QVC. I like Per Una in M&S but it's quite pricey - I was in there yesterday but didn't see anything I liked but then found two lovely jumpers in Quiz - I didn't need 2 new jumpers but hey ho they're now in my wardrobe grin I've recently discovered Diane Gilman jeans which fit fabulously as they're quite stretchy but not to the extent that they sag so buy them when they're on offer. If I never buy another thing I'll have enough clothes to see me into my dotage but have just opened an M&S bank account so eagerly awaiting my £100 gift card smile

We have great charity shops in my area, so I often buy jackets and tops there made by Country Casuals and Boden ( far too pricey normally).

I have a lovely light grey jacket bought from Joules in the sale.

I like all the Dash clothes as they are made of cotton and don't irritate my skin.

Edinburgh Wool Mills occasionally have nice trousers and tops.

Charity shops mainly , I bought a Jaeger jacket a few weeks ago for £2 in near perfect condition except one button was chipped . Clarks shoes unworn for £5 . I make some stuff like summer tops and harem trousers . Sainsburys for underwear . I would never buy from Marks as the quality is terrible and everything is made in the far east .
Anything unusual from Ebay , I am a bit of an old hippy too !

I very rarely wear dresses but, when I do, I check out Adini who still use a lot of cotton in their clothes. However, since I started wearing leggings I tend to wear the same clothes pretty much all the time; just switch the long leggings for shorter ones when the weather warms up.

I buy wherever I find something I like. I like cotton and my trusty cotton jumpers and cardigans are getting well worn. Can only now find Cotton mix...
Got some lovely bras from TKMaxx though!

Pittcity, the Lands End web site has lots of cotton knitwear as has the Cotton Traders' site.
