Can anyone recommend a nice swimsuit please for a holiday in 6 weeks time. I will only be puggling about in the hotel pool and possibly if its warm enough a bit of sunbathing (yes I know). Something elegant and structured I'm a size 14 and rounded generally. Thank you

I'm a fan of Zoggs too. The Sports Centre I use stocks them. I tend to try on a few styles for size, then wait for Zoggs' end of season online reductions wink

In the end I bought a Debenhams Collection one with tummy control £34 it looks quite nice I think.

I hope the tummy control panel works better for you than mine did! wink

My last three have been crossover ones from good old BHS, very flattering shape. Wonder if they've got any this year, probably my last chance to buy

I love M&S tanki. They look like a good swimsuit but when no one is looking you can roll up the top a bit and get some sun on your stomach! Joking aside they are a reasonable price, have straps that can pull you up like a bra and they are made to flatter your stomach. Always buy at a time.

Should have said Curvy Kate goes up to large cup sizes too.

Have to agree with Harrysgran that M&Co.have really lovely ( reasonable prices ones.) I have just ordered two tanking tops. I have a long body and cossies without adjustable straps leave me unable to stand up straight.( cause of great merriment in our house when trying in )

That should be tankini.
I wonder what a tanking top looks like and whether it fires anti-missile shells.!

How about a bikini??

Would anyone consider it - and stop feeling that we need to cover up our naturally shaped older bodies?

Just like a fabulous fitting bra can do wonders so can a fabulous fitting bikini!

Check out Bravissimo but also www.brastop.com/ are great too.

I'm a sun lover so any holiday abroad I always wear my bikini, all through my forties fifties I've worn one I'm off to Oz at end of the month to celebrate my 60th with my family and my bikini is coming with me. It's a sensible one decent size bottoms and a very flattering top. Never owned a swimsuit since leaving school and I never will. sunshine

I'm over 60 and wear bikinis on the beach although I always wear a sarong if I'm walking around. I find swimsuits too hot and uncomfortable.

I'm 62 and still wear a bikini. I'm quite lucky in that even after 4 kids I still have a fairly flat stomach. I do however buy cup sized tops so that they fit well.
