Swimsuits

I also wear the boyshorts swimsuits for in the pool so much comfier for actually swimming than my on the beach suits as I'm forever hiking the shoulder straps up.

I have a couple of 'boy leg' swimsuits, they hide most of the wobbly bits of flesh!

Just seen your post. I bought a terrific swimsuit from a company called "AMPLE BOSOM". it was expensive, but I treated myself. It keeps all of my size 18 tucked in.!! Is a good length so I dont have to do a "tweak" every time I get out of the pool.!

Make sure you feel comfortable in them. Then you will look fine! If you are constantly tweaking and pulling up shoulder straps you will look and feel awkward and spend too much time thinking about how you look.

Congratulations on the weight loss. If you've a long body don't overlook the two piece tankini types. They cover as well as a one piece and can be easier to fit. Some shops sell the tops and bottoms separately so easier to get right. Think grannyknot is spot on and the only people worried about how we look are ourselves so don't be too concerned, just have fun with the family.

One with a "control panel" and/or ruching (?) should help with any lumps and bumps and also give support. I got one in Sainsbury but they are widely available. Well done on the weight loss.

Lynne congrats on the weight loss. I'm a size 14 and I have found nice swimsuits at Tesco and most recently at Debenhams. I think it's just the luck of the draw, on both occasions I tried them on and voila, they looked half-decent as far as the cut and design goes. I stay away from all-black swimsuits, I don't want to look like a school gym pupil. The harsh truth is (just my opinion) that no one really pays that much attention to how a woman in her 60s looks on a swimsuit

Reason I'm only mentioning 2 swimsuits is because it's not something that's needed every day!
