ankle Boots?

I love them, I've just bought a new pair in Clarkes to add to my collection these have a little heel, I'll probably wear them with some winter 7/8th length, ankle skimmer trousers.

I found a beautiful pair of blue ankle boots with double zips for ease of putting on. Bought them just this morning. Now I'm all set for winter. ??

To wear ankle boots with trousers just roll the hems over a couple of times so there is a tiny gap between the bottom of your trousers and the top of your boots

Am only joking Marydoll for all I know Weegies may be just as strange!
Although when last in Edinburgh ( at a hotel) the waiter did his best to get us to eat kippers for breakfast. Not for me these days.

I have to say all the Edinburgh grans are so lovely, I look forward so much to the meet ups and enjoy their company. They make the Glasgow grans feel so welcome.
However, I forgot to look at their boots.

But they are all a bit strange in Edinburgh aren’t they?(Ducks for cover)

What I did notice in Edinburgh was, the natives all seemed to be wearing cropped leggings, trainers and winter coats.? I've not seen that in Glasgow ? Sorry Edinburgh grans, I meant the young people in
I looked odd, wearing NON tucked in trousers.? in my boots.

Sadly biker at our age nobody even notices us let alone our boots and leggings.

MissA yes they do still call them monkey boots (no idea why) just google and you will find (soz for late reply) tut.

You wear them however you bloody well want to! I reckon you'll look fab!

It’s far too warm here yet to be wearing leggings/jeggings and any kind of boots.I am in a tee shirt today and thin cut off chinos and bare feet with sandals.

I am 75 and still wearing skinny jeans and intend to do so for some years to come.

I've just turned 70 and I'm wondering if I'm too old for ankle grazing skinny jeans. I like them on other people but they're usually younger. I love my red flat ankle boots but wear jeans over them.

I have never found a pair of ankle boots that don't hurt the bottom of my shins.
I can and do wear ankle-high lacing boots (pixy-boots?) but would prefer zip or elastic-sided.

This thread has reminded me to 'dig out' a brand new pair of black patent DMs which, when I got them home, were the wrong size. Also two pairs of lightly worn Vans and a pair of Converse All Stars hi-tops.
Just the shove I needed to put them on eBay tomorrow.
