I am in desperate need of smartish, navy blue chinos with an elasticated waist. Do any of you wonderful ladies know where I might find them?

Cotton Traders or J. D. Williams

I'd like some too. But chinos are always cut too short in the leg or the material shows up all lumps and bumps.. I don't know what it's is about chinos!

I've been looking for pull on jeans. Proper jeans, not skinny jeggings. I've had no joy. I hope your search for chinos is easier.

Look on Peter Hahn site

Lands' End have some back elasticated ones.

Another vote for Cotton Traders here.

Have just ordered some quite smart looking navy cropped trousers (although on me, being short they won't look very cropped!) with "adjustable" waist, which usually means an estimated insertwinkI

MiniMoon I have pull on jeans from them too, take a look at their site.

Bought some in Cotton Traders last year, have kept colour well and are comfy. Ideal for the bus trips into town.

Go to Lands End, they are brilliant. The chinos have a bit of stretch in them, they will hem to your leg size if you ask for it on ordering. Huge choice. I’ve been buying from them since 1989. Go online, Landsend.co.uk.
Enjoy. They’ll send you a catalogue 8f you prefer. Their products are mostly pure cotton and linen.

I second Lands End. Always focused on combining practical comfort with style.

Yup, lands end for me too. They have petite fittings, and chinos, elastic waisted jeans too. I

MiniMoon, I bought some lovely pull on elasticated waist jeans from Bon Marche but that was a while ago. Might be worth a look. Good prices too.

trendygran Sat 18-May-19 15:43:10

I find that Bonmarche jeans are by far the best .They are very comfortable, fit well and don’t cost the earth. I can fit into a smaller size than M and S jeans and they look and feel better.

Simply robell. On line or in independent dress shops really smart and different lengths. Wash brilliantly. Light iron inside out.

Sheilasue Sat 18-May-19 16:52:43

I got a pair of navy trousers with 7/8th length (dont ask)
From M&S. Slit at just Above my ankle, really nice more of a formal chino £19.00. Not elescated on the waist but not tight.

Nannyme Sat 18-May-19 18:08:52

I agree with Sister Act, Robell trousers are brilliant, a bit pricey but worth every penny, wash and wear like a dream.
