I thought she looked great today, particularly in the line up of much younger ladies. Shallow, I know , but that's what I think.

Also it must be odd seeing your husband in a velvet cloak and some sort of 16th century head wear.

Her biography by Penny Junor, is really eye opening, I would highly recommend it

Yep, I like Camilla too. I think she has a mischievous sense of fun and she dresses well.
Incidentally, we rarely see Edward; Sophie yes but Edward no.

The press are not interested in following the Male Windsors, with the exception of William and Harry

She came to a place where my DS worked. He said she was lovely. Pleasant and friendly.

Sara65 Tue 16-Jul-19 20:47:29

No we don’t see a lot of Edward, but I think Sophie does a lot of fairly low profile things, she turned up at one of my grandchildren’s nurseries one day, with very little publicity

Edward has taken on the Duke of Edinburgh Awards , patron of Paralympics GB and he and Sophie have their own charity

I think Camilla is fun and down to earth. Earlier problems should be laid to rest now, they are good together.
Sophie Wessex has also shown herself to be a very classy lady.

I think she is terrific. I read that she had a cake made for the test match special commentary team who were covering the world Cup on Sunday.

Sodapop

I agree with both your points, Camilla is lovely, I didn’t think much of Sophie to begin with, but she’s quietly got on with things, a definite asset to the Royal Family

Anniebach Tue 16-Jul-19 21:56:32

I too like Camilla and Sophie, my obsession with dignity ?

MrsAllboys Tue 16-Jul-19 23:41:13

Camilla does seem to have a good sense of humour and sense of the ridiculous. She probably also shares the zany, anarchic humour Prince Charles has which, among other things, explains the rapport they so obviously have.

She is "the other woman" in a young brides marriage..

stella1949 Wed 17-Jul-19 02:00:24

I've always liked her, and I like her style. And regarding Prince Charles in his Garter outfit, I'm sure she's used to seeing him in this kind of garb.

sodapop Wed 17-Jul-19 09:05:01

Time to let go of that now gransal we have all made mistakes but for most of us they were not made so public. I was in a similar situation with my first husband many years ago but we have moved on now and get along ok ( for short periods )

Sara65 Wed 17-Jul-19 09:10:37

I agree Sodapop

After all, that young bride made plenty of her own mistakes, as we all do

Let it go

They are in the west country at the moment . I would love to meet them... I think Camilla is perfect for Charles and he's a better man for having her in his life.

Jane10 Wed 17-Jul-19 11:09:48

Not difficult Henetha!!

henetha Wed 17-Jul-19 11:16:05

I think they are going to Sidmouth today, but I'm committed to taking one of my grandchildren to Paignton this afternoon.
Maybe on their next visit......
