Lightweight fleece

There is an article on GN Style and Beauty. It is titled 'What not to wear over 50' Fleeces are on that list. ?

I wanted a lightweight one that had a full length zip and also zipped pockets. I hunted all over the place and eventually found what I wanted in Decathlon

I love my thin Regatta fleece which I bought from a garden centre shop.

I would second Marks and Spencer fleeces. I have 6 in different colours. Not bulky. Wash well. Wear well. Not expensive.

I've had a couple from the Edinburgh Woollen Mill that have been useful.

I'd always be happy to recommend Rohan - they are a proper technical clothing company but if you go into their Sales section they usually have a few good bargain items. I have a couple of their fleeces and they manage to be both thin (good for wearing under a coat etc) and yet efficient at keeping you warm and are hardwearing and washable.

Usually get mine from lands end. They have fleece in gilet style too, which might be worth considering.
