Lightweight fleece

Anyone know where I can get a lightweight fleece? Not fussed about one with a hood either. Just want something light enough to wear under a coat so it doesn't need to be polar fleece. But it must have a full length zip. Please don't suggest a regular cardigan............not a fan of cardigans!

Usually get mine from lands end. They have fleece in gilet style too, which might be worth considering.

I'd always be happy to recommend Rohan - they are a proper technical clothing company but if you go into their Sales section they usually have a few good bargain items. I have a couple of their fleeces and they manage to be both thin (good for wearing under a coat etc) and yet efficient at keeping you warm and are hardwearing and washable.

I've had a couple from the Edinburgh Woollen Mill that have been useful.

I’m wearing a thin Regatta fleece, full length zip, cozy but not bulky. This one came from a garden centre.

Marks and Spencer. I have about 12 in different colours bought over the years. They are cheap and wash well.

Trespass and Regatta! Did you find one H1954?

I would second Marks and Spencer fleeces. I have 6 in different colours. Not bulky. Wash well. Wear well. Not expensive.

I love my thin Regatta fleece which I bought from a garden centre shop.

I wanted a lightweight one that had a full length zip and also zipped pockets. I hunted all over the place and eventually found what I wanted in Decathlon

There is an article on GN Style and Beauty. It is titled 'What not to wear over 50' Fleeces are on that list. ?
