I have been struggling to find matte eyeshadows in the shops. I have been qadvised many times that glossy ones are not good on older skins so, would have thought the cosmetic companies would be pleased to cater for us older ‘girls’.
Boots no longer do any in its ranges. I tried the other brands sold in there, unsuccessfully. Body Shop has changed its range too. Any help out there please?

Have you looked at the Look Fabulous Forever range which is aimed at the mature market ?

Bare Minerals did have loose matte eye shadow. Hope they still do.

Tarte Cosmetics are all matte and can be purchased from that well known tv shopping channel beginning with Q.

Not sure of the brand name but I've bought matte shadow in Tesco.

Have you looked at Bobby Brown? I use their powder shadows, they do a wide range of subtle colours. I find their dark Brown excellent as an eyeliner.

I use Mac matte eyeshadow. They do a lovely brown shade that stays on for ages and you can use it on your eyebrows as well.

Catrice do fab eyeshadow pallettes and I have one in matte. It's lovely, goes on really well and lasts. It's also very reasonably priced too x

Have you tried Bourjois or Superdrug own brand? I've had matt eyeshadow from both of them in the past.

Now I’m the right side of 50 I find that cream products work better than powder for me.

I have recently fallen in love with Trinny London Eye to Eye. I’m quite obsessed trinnylondon.com/uk/products/eye-contact

I bought a nice palette of (mostly) matt eyeshadows from M&S last year. Don't know if it;s still available.

I have a Maybelline powder eyeshadow without glittery bits. I agree it's hard to fins a selection of matte eyeshadows especially in natural colours.

Have a look at Morphe...there are stores and you can shop online.
They do a great range on palettes that are matt. The quality is very good and they aren't expensive.

I have just bought a Givenchy palette (Debenhams) 9 assorted shades so you can mix and blend - expensive at £45 but the best I have ever had.
