I was browsing the hat department in a big store as I have a wedding to go to in the summer.
A group of ladies were also browsing, and examining the lovely display of fascinators.
A very elderly lady in a wheelchair was also being persuaded to try on hats, but was more conservative in her tastes.
" I would not be seen dead wearing one of them perambulators on my head" she declared.
