Knee highs under trousers

Does it matter when you are at home? I wear thick thermal socks at home and take them off when I go out. Get big fluffy ones then you can slip them off quickly if you see anyone coming to the house.

Well tanith the trousers come to just the ankle which looks fine til you sit down then withe the trousers leg riding up a bit the socks just don’t look right as the sock ends , then some of my horrid bare flesh.. then trouser ! If you get the picture !!

Why not socks? Just wondering ?

Apparently a light spray of hairspray or a rub over them with a dryer sheet helps the static cling

I wear them too and cant say I've noticed the problem. The trousers are usually jeans so cord or denim

I do like wearing the tapered leg trousers in petite so they just come to the ankle and mostly for sitting around at home but my feet get so cold .. I usually wear the little invisible footsies and ballet type pumps , but not warm enough. No way could I wear tights under, and not socks either ! So knee highs it is.... but... how do you stop the trousers sticking to the knee highs? I always rinse them in fabric softener, but still get the “stick” . Does anyone know of any nice smooth sleek sort of silky effect knees highs with no static ?
