Reading one of the Sunday supplements and they have an article on bras including nursing bras and those designed for women who have had a mastectomy. Pleased to see these included But
The average price of those shown is £40-£60 and one at £299 !!! Even if I was wealthy I wouldn't pay that for something only my husband and my dress designer would see grin
Any thoughts ?

But a really well fitting bra is so comfortable that you don’t mind wearing it. It makes a huge difference to how you stand and wear your clothes too. A good bra is an investment in my opinion!

I've yet to find a really comfortable bra. Tried all sorts. Had fittings in various stores and ended up buying expensive ones which stay in the drawer. The good thing about winter is that I don't wear one!

I've seen adverts for funny shaped stick on things. Has anyone tried them? They never mention prices or how long they last.

Well fitting bra makes all the difference to everything you wear. I spend about £40 a time and those are good quality and last for ages. Couldn't afford £200!

Yes, I agree £40 for a good fit is an investment. It was the £299 that made me gasp.

A good bra is a complex garment made up of 20 or more pieces of fabric, all cut and made with precision for the different sizes.

How they can justify charging high prices for those ones that like like Boudicca's breastplate, just a moulded bit of foam with elastic fabric fitted over it, I can never understand.
