Just passing this on! I have no connection with this company but just tried Shooshing cream from the White Hot Hair Company and it’s Brilliant!!! Only needed a pea size squeeze to rub into dry hair and it gave great volume and style. My hair is thinning so I need a bit of volume. I don’t have white or grey hair and it still worked! Am now going to order the shampoo! Order online only www.whitehothair.co.uk/

I agree. Quite expensive. I use an oil instead.

Thanks Glen. I keep Amazon in business ?

Glenfinnan Sat 22-Feb-20 07:52:47

Hello Nankate I think it’s only available online or through Amazon. I bought mine from Amazon but there are some deals if you buy direct from the company. It works on my ‘problem’ hair....thinning, but coarse which waves in places I don’t want it to!

Just looked on YouTube and there are a number of examples of how to use Shooshing Cream. I will get some today if there is any in Waitrose and will report back.

Water and wax (which is effectively what Shooshig Cream is) would not mix unless perhaps whizzed up as a mousse, would it?

There are other waxes and gels - this is just rather heavy for some tastes.

BradfordLass73 Sat 22-Feb-20 05:06:26

annsixty is there anything you could dilute it with, a drop of water in the palm of your hand for instance?

Sorry blush

annep1 Fri 21-Feb-20 20:18:46

Thank you Phoenix for sharing that envy

phoenix Fri 21-Feb-20 20:12:53

Actually feel a bitblush at posting on this thread, as I have to get my hair thinned, i.e. razored or a technique that my hairdresser refers to as "chipping in".

Still use a bit of "product" though, i.e. gel or putty type stuff.

(When I can be arsed bothered.)

I have looked outside, and as far as I'm aware the world hasn't stopped turning.

Glenfinnan Fri 21-Feb-20 20:04:23

So sorry Phoenix hope you are not too annoyed!

MawB Fri 21-Feb-20 19:24:49

gringringrin

I have actually tried this Shooshing Cream and didn’t like the heavy sticky feeling it gave my hair.
I get on better with a smidgen of wax or hair putty.

phoenix Fri 21-Feb-20 18:41:41

Erm, just wondering why this is posted on the AIBU thread?

Hetty58 Fri 21-Feb-20 18:25:21

I can't get along with sprays, myself. I seem to get too much in one spot. I use Revlon One (£6 from the hairdresser) but spray it into my hand, rub hands together - then put it on my hair!

rosenoir Fri 21-Feb-20 17:35:57

Charles Worthington make a volume and texturising spray for £6.99, easier to control than a cream.

annep1 Fri 21-Feb-20 13:07:23

It's £13. Reviews mixed. I do wish it was possible to get sachets of products to try. I get fed up buying stuff to find it doesn't suit.

nananumnums Fri 21-Feb-20 13:05:30

i have been using the shooshing cream, shampoo and conditioner for almost a year - and i loooove it - i have quite fine fly away hair and you do have to experiment with the amount of shoooshing cream - but a little goes along way - yes it is quite expensive but sign up for emails and you will get some good deals regularly

annep1 Fri 21-Feb-20 13:03:21

I too thought it was about squirty cream ?.

I must look. My hair is going downhill fast.

ninathenana Fri 21-Feb-20 12:51:50

Thanks annsixty

BlueBelle Fri 21-Feb-20 12:11:25

It is expensive is it really so much better than the ones I get for £4 or £5

Glenfinnan Fri 21-Feb-20 11:40:23

I was going to try their hair oil but as it’s expensive only bought the shooshing cream has anyone else tried it?

annsixty Fri 21-Feb-20 09:56:35

No nina you use it on clean, dry hair.

annsixty Fri 21-Feb-20 09:55:37

I am going to be the negative one here.
I cannot seem to get the right amount.
Only just a smidgen too much and it is like using lard, I have tried about three times and have given up, it is quite expensive too not work, although if it does work for you ,it would last forever.

ninathenana Fri 21-Feb-20 09:40:15

Sounds perfect for me.
I've just had Googled it but can't tell if it's to be used before you blow dry? I assume it is.
