Are Birkenstops worth the money?

I’m thinking of investing in a pair of these sandals. Which style would be the best? Do you need to go down a size? I’d need to know the right size to order as I don’t really want to go into shoe shops!

I use my ancient birkies as slippers but I need more support for walking.
I have a favourite pair of Hotter laceups but when I bought a court shoe from them (comfy in the shop) I wore them to a wedding and they were screamingly uncomfortable. So I reckon there is no such thing as the perfect shoe for everyone.

As well as Sketchers, my go to shoes are made by Adesso. You can usually pick them up cheaply at the end of the season.
It is like wearing slippers. Pavers do similar ones.
I have RA and my feet are really painful, but this make is so comfortable.
