There's nothing wrong with biker boots, in fact they're common and mainstream now. If it were thigh high boots, though - I'd be worried!

Too old my - er - bottom!! Buy those boots and enjoy them!

Comfy, cool, l'm 72 and wear them and a black leather biker jacket, go for it!

Reiker do great biker boots. They are comfortable too.

You're never too old for biker boots, buy them, I would!

I'm 61 and just brought a pair of Dr Martins they cost me £169 never have I spent so much on my feet but omg they are so worth it.
I have RA so comfort to walk in
Strong ankle support
And they will last years
The bonus is they make me feel like a rock chick.
So go on and buy and enjoy
Its what you want to wear and at our age we can please ourselves no matter what others think

Glow, I too have RA and I was just thinking that biker boots would be exactly what my consultant would recommend. The bonus, they are fashionable too!

Some days I use to walk like a Penguin with weak shoes
So hopefully they will enline my ankle joints again resulting in less pain

Why should you bother what others think? Out of curiosity I Googled: Grandmother in Biker Boots, a plethora of images came up, so I just chose the first. Doesn't she look fabulous?

Hope your RA in undercontrol and not giving you to much pain

Oh please don't buy Doc Martens before trying them on!
They are notoriously unbearably painful until you have worn them in, which may not ever happen!
Please read up on them. I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial.

Fly boots are also good.

I love biker boots. My last ones were actually Clarks, not that you'd have known if, they were so 'lived in' and grungy looking. Very realistic.

I've not been able to find another pair I like so am without at the moment. I like Fly but they're a bit narrow for me.

There are so many excellent boots around. I found myself wondering how many ankle, half calf length boots could possibly be too many

I’m older than you OP, wear whatever you want. These are super comfortable but I do hanker after a pair of Docs.

Spangler I have always thought biker boots to be thick soled, laced or buckled up the sides and worn on the outside of trousers. Sure these are biker boots in the picture? I will need to check biker magazines for what is the norm.
