I know make up has moved on leaps+bounds this century but yesterday in Superdrug (after 20 mins browsing in Boots and buying nothing-an all time 1st for me!) I bought Max Factor Creme Puff (Translucent). It lifted my spirits as I’m pleased with the results and I still adore the scent of it. I would love to put it in a proper compact case - any ideas where I could get one? Amazon hardly sell any and please forgive my laziness but thought I’d ask incase anyone knew of an online-chemist or similar which sell them.
I’ve been using Ponds cold cream for the last wee while, it’s great with a cotton cloth but the smell of the cold cream is a few seconds of therapy! I can’t find a Ponds moisturiser with spf or I’d get that when my Nivea runs out but an empty compact case is my first search!

Go round any antique shop or centre and you are bound to fins one for sale.

Yes there are usually loads in antique centres, some really nice ones too. When they're open of course. I suppose many may not re-open, after the last year. Auctions often have them too. The more common ones aren't very expensive.

There are some beautiful ones here:
Art Deco compacts

Have a look on eBay. I used to collect compacts and sold the collection through eBay. I have kept the one that started me off, a solid silver compact that was DH’s great Aunts.
Off topic, I was saying today how much better Superdrug was compared to Boots. Their on line site has a wide variety of products.
