Face yoga - does it work?

I’m wondering if it can work, especially if you only start doing it in your 60s. Some of the before & after promotional pics look good (maybe too good!) but can’t help feeling a little sceptical. The company I’ve come across on Instagram charges a fee, so don’t want to get conned…

I doubt it very much. It's easy enough to produce photos that are flattering - or not - with a slight change of lighting and focus.

Some skin firming or tightening creams make a remarkable lifting and smoothing difference too, but it's only temporary.

Some years ago I used to do facial exercises in the car on my way to work. Some of them were quite scary for other motorists to see! I never saw any improvement despite taking regular selfies.

I’m an example if it not working! As is Fergie.

As someone who has done Yoga for years I think it is more beneficial to do Yoga exercises for the whole body. Facial specific exercises may give some small benefit but I think the company promoting & charging for them will gain more. Search out some free online guides or buy a book, what ever you do it does need commitment and regular practice.

Shysal, like you I used to do the facial exercises which didn't seem to make any difference after months. Then I saw the author of the book I was following, and I have to say she looked dreadful, her face was so rigid (and this was before Botox, too). So I guess we are better off accepting our lines!
