I have very large muscular calfs, so need Extra wide fitting calf knee high boots. However I can never seem to find Extra wide fitting Calf Boots with heels, they all seem to be flat heels, ergo, you have wide calfs you must need to wear frumpy boots.. is the message I'm getting..however further to that it seems if I enter Wide calf into the search engines, 99 % of the time I'm presented with wide fitting soles....
I don't need wide fitting soles, I have average size feet, but I do need wide fitting calfs, and with heels..

I found these heeled boots on Evans website.. but it says nothing about the width of the Calfs, except that they are extra wide, nor does it say whether they're referring to the foot width rather than the leg...

I don't know if it's against the rules to post a link to the website but if someone could help, maybe I'm not seeing something that's obvious to other people. Any help finding wide calf mid or high heel boots would be eternally gratefully received.

Duo Boots …. but you might need to take out a mortgage to buy them!

Thanks for your reply Clematis... unfortunately my budget has to be under £100...

If you click on their sizing option it gives you a link to footwear sizing , scroll down and it does say the calf size, but it does seem to be on E, and EE fitting so probably too wide in the foot for you.

This is their size guide for footwear

Thank you for finding the sizing for me with Evans, sadly as has been pointed out and that I have discovered myself with most Boot manufacturers, if you want a wide calf you almost always have to have a wide foot too.. that's very frustrating hmm

My feet aren’t wide, normal size 5, but my calves though not overly huge, are too big for most longer boots. I have stopped trying them on now to avoid embarrassment should they get stuck (it’s happened). shock

silverlining48 my calves to are not overly huge, at 17.5 inches, but larger than any off the shelf boots with heels.. oddly I can buy flat heel boots, and I have 2 pairs albeit one pair has a wide 'foot' which means I have to wear thick socks .. but trying to find any boots that are more dressy with a wide calf is proving to be almost impossible

Ailsa 43 I know, I can only buy ankle boots, they always fit. Annoying though. I don’t bother to look now.

I read somewhere that John Lewis are selling own label boots in various calf widths, and the price was quite reasonable.

I'd have a look at Simply Be.

I've bought a few pairs of boots from them and have had no problems, they do a range of calf widths.
