Your hair looks great, Blossoming. smile

Can I just sneak in a recommendation for a shampoo bar I’ve discovered recently, also free of all the nasties and very effective for anyone with very fine hair like mine? The company’s Nuddy, based in Middlesbrough, and my favourite is the cocoa thickening shampoo, though they also do a peach one for volumising that’s nearly as good.

Your hair looks in perfect condition Blossoming. Thank you for the recommendation.

Blossoming I have no feeling about your op! I remarked about seeing if hair is silky and soft by aa photo!..

For anyone worrying about plastic packaging, this is from the Sustainability statement on Noughty’s website.

From late 2020, we proudly switched production of our tubes, bottles and jars to part bio-plastic sugarcane, part PCR plastic (that’s Post Consumer Recycled aka recycled)

Shampoo and conditioner bars are not good for my skin and hair, I have tried many and all have caused horrendous reactions.

Thanks Blossoming I’ve made a note of it.

Hair looks good... but so disappointing they are still using plastic!!

Lots of great shampoo and conditioner bars being sold in paper/ card wrap.

Good for hair...good for the planet!

Ooh, I didn’t expect to cause such controversy with a post about shampoo, that’s Lemsip taking exeption as well as MOnica grin

It’s in a tube a bit like hand cream Callistemon21 and you don’t need shampoo and conditioner, it does the lot. You only need a small amount so I think the 250ml tube will last me quite a while. I’m really pleased it hasn’t made my scalp itchy, I have sensitive skin.

*Your hair looks soft and silky btw.*

how can you tell if her hair looks soft and silky by a photo?

Well, it looks it!

If photography can't show the condition of hair then there wouldn't be any adverts for hair products and Claudia Winkleman wouldn't be selling Head and Shoulders (as if we'd all look like that after using it!! ?)

Blossomings hair looks in good condition compared to mine which is looking dry and like a haystack.

I know you don’t like me MOnica but that is ridiculous.

Callistemon21 it’s a cream in a tube and you only need a very small amount. My hair is very soft and silky, neither dry nor greasy and it hasn’t irritated my scalp.

I use so little shampoo that I never check what's in it! Dry hair that still fluffs after washing & hardly ever gets greasy,so I wash it weekly with 1 tsp of shampoo & 1 tsp conditioner - even a small bottle lasts many months. If I used a lot, would definitely be interested

Love the look Blossoming. I have very little hair left, unfortunately, as I have a very underactive thyroid so it wouldn't be worth my while.

Callistemon21 Mon 31-Jan-22 18:17:54

Blossoming is a regular poster, Monica.

Is it a solid bar, Blossoming, or liquid?
Your hair looks soft and silky btw.
Mine's gone dry again but it does need a cut.

Someone was asking not long ago for shampoo recommendations, but I can’t find the thread now.

I have recently started to use Noughty 1 Hit Wonder Co Wash, it’s a cleansing conditioner and it’s free from all the nasties. You apply it to wet hair, massage it through, leave for a couple of minutes then rinse. It’sround a fiver from AmazOn and my hair is looking and feeling great.
