I have crepe skin / sun damage on my arms. Does anyone have a remedy that doesn't cost 70 quid a tub? TYIA

What has this to do with the Coronavirus?

We're moving this thread over to our Style & Beauty topic, OP. So sorry for the delay!

Most women have horrible crepe skin on upperarms after a certain age. Don’t think there is a cure, just wear half sleeves to cover them.

There's no remedy for ageing skin - that's just how it goes, unfortunately!

To improve the appearance I'd say a basic lotion with a bit of body oil mixed in.

I think also a diet which includes fats e.g. olive oil, avocado, nuts, oily fish etc will make us a little lovelier! smile

You can build up muscle which helps with saggy skin - weight exercises, pilates, swimming etc.

I tried weight exercises. It was agony for my arthritic shoulder. There’s no hope!!

Choose different parents. I claim no responsibility for having slim, almost crepe free arms, it is a gene I have inherited from my father's family, most of my aunts had slim arms, into very old age, ditto most of my female cousins and sister.

Try some fake tan on your arms, it will look a lot better. Skin brushing helps long term.

I have slender arms and I dig a lot on my raised veg patch. But lately the top of my arms are looking a bit loose I am wearing sleeves more now. I am nearly sixty six I just assume it’s age creeping up as I am not overweight.
